Business Analyst – Fixed term

Salary: £40,000 – FTC end March 2023

Hours: 37 Hours per week - Monday to Friday

Location: Green Lane, Walsall

At South Staffs Water we deliver clean and reliable water supplies to around 1.5 million customers within the South Staffs and Cambridge regions.

We have a really exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team, working on Debt Transformation activities within an overall Transformation & Change team. Key to supporting our vision of delivering a market leading customer offering, you will be operating within a small project group closely linked with operational delivery.

 Key Responsibilities:

Reporting into the Debt Transformation Project Manager, you will document business processes, identifying risks and opportunities so they are easily understood by business partners

  • Interpret business processes and requirements to deliver conceptual designs, delivering against business requirements
  • Understand business needs related to transformation or change and work with stakeholders through business change journeys
  • Produce and deliver presentations, reports, and specifications that are clear and concise to business stakeholders, including supporting delivery at Executive level
  • Manage an overall workplan for yourself to ensure activity is assigned and delivered on time and to budget
  • Using your skills you will coach others in techniques and approaches, effectively and positively challenging and influencing to support best outcomes

The Ideal Candidate:

You will have evidence based experience of working within roles delivering service excellence, linking with all levels of business stakeholders within Project and BAU environments. Ideally experienced within business change activity, experience working within financial or debt support environments would be an advantage. Certified with CBAP or ISEB, together with Six Sigma / Lean methodology experience, this exciting opportunity will suit an enthusiastic individual who enjoys a varied role within a team environment.
