We're looking for an Associate Product Manager who is passionate about creating products and propositions that are reliable, affordable, and sustainable to support our vision of enabling life's essentials and inspiring a zero-carbon future.  
You will join a dynamic, innovative group focused on solutions that customers will love, working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment to design, build and launch products and propositions to deliver on our strategy.  
This role is open to existing residents of Jersey only.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Suggest new product ideas and product enhancements to improve user experience and deliver business growth 
  • Own and develop relationships with partners, working with them to optimise and enhance our products and propositions 
  • Take ownership of product development activities, lead collaboration with internal departments to deliver functional solutions 
  • Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps 
  • Manage the backlog and prioritise the implementation of new features and set specific timelines 
  • Liaise with the Communications department to ensure suitable marketing and positioning of new products and propositions 
  • Monitor and report on product performance after launching, and fixing issues 
  • Create and update product documentation, including delivery processes, customer journeys, support and training documents for internal and external users amongst others. 
  • Define product specifications and business analysis requirements 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Previous work experience as an Associate Product Developer/Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Project Manager or similar commercial role, with experience managing the entire product lifecycle 
  • Familiarity with market research, consumer behaviour and marketing techniques 
  • Knowledge of project management tools, like MS Planner, ClickUp or Trello 
  • Strong time management skills 
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams 
  • Demonstrable behaviours such as professionalism, approachability, diplomacy, tact, and ability to work collaboratively 
  • A high level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence is desirable to support working with project teams 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and innovative, 
  • Minimum 1 year operating in a related commercial role 
  • Ideally hands-on experience with energy technologies  
  • Ideally be educated to a degree level, BSc in Business Administration, Marketing or a similar field, or a high level of demonstrable industry experience/success would be considered.
