As an Assistant Design Engineer in our Capital Delivery Team, you'll be supporting the development and assurance of engineering designs that power homes, protect communities, and drive progress across our network. Working alongside experienced engineers and external partners, you'll help ensure our capital projects are compliant, safe, and of the highest quality.

What you'll bring:
You're a detail-driven problem solver with a hunger to learn and a desire to deliver high-quality work. You'll bring a strong technical foundation, great communication skills, and the curiosity to grow in one of the most important sectors of the UK infrastructure landscape.
- Qualifications - HNC/HND minimum in an engineering discipline (Degree desirable).
- Experience - Demonstrable background in a technical or engineering role.
- Technical knowledge - Understanding of GD/PM/G/17 disciplines and key legislation including CDM Regs 2015.
- Analytical mindset - Able to work with large datasets, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights.
- Collaborative approach - Confidence to work across teams and communicate your ideas clearly.
- Commercial awareness - An understanding of project value, risk, and customer outcomes.
