Circa £21k per annum pro-rated depending on skills and experience

9 month Fixed-term contract

Part time (22.2 hours) over 5 days

Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location will be Thorpe Wood House, Peterborough.

Supporting our Delivery

We have a great opportunity for someone to join our busy finance team. You will be an integral part of the team involved in processing invoices, making payments and providing essential support and advice to our business.

In this varied role you will accurately process invoices to ensure payments are only made for items being ordered and received. You will create, check and send weekly spreadsheets along with completing regular statement reconciliations on our key vendors. You will also manage goods receipts, credit notes and resolutions of invoice queries.

Not only is this a finance based role, it is a highly customer focused position; you will be the first point of contact for all our customer and supplier enquiries and provide an excellent level of service to identify and resolve their needs.

What does it take to be a Accounts Payable Team Member?

  • Educated to at least GCSE level with Grade C or above in English and Maths

  • Effective communication with customers, both internal and external

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service

  • Excellent attention to deal

  • Ability to deal with high volumes and work within strict deadlines

  • A flexible approach with initiative to problem solve

  • Experience or knowledge of procurement and payment processes

  • All round Office 365 skills with strong numeracy skills
